The Board of Commissioners established an expiration date of April 30 for the current State of Emergency. This deadline will be re-evaluated during the April 20 Board of Commissioners meeting and adjustments to the date will be made if necessary. This includes:
- Access restricted for non-resident property owners and visitors to Corolla and the 4WD area.
- County offices open to public by appointment only.
- County events and meetings are cancelled.
- County facilities and parks are closed.
At County Parks, the playgrounds and equipment are closed off to public use in order to prevent any possible spread of COVID-19. Citizens may still use the open space and walking trails for exercise with appropriate social distancing.
