Why are you running for Office?

I have lived in Currituck County most of my adult life and have taught thousands of Currituck County students the importance of being good citizens who create a thriving community. My goal is to maintain Currituck County’s historic past while overseeing managed growth that Affords our citizens facilities, services and neighborhoods that are second to none in the state.

Five Issues Facing Currituck

  • Improving and expanding infrastructure, especially broadband and wastewater capabilities
  • Manage growth in the northern end of the county to ensure our facilities can adequately serve our citizens
  • Work with our school board to locate, fund and build new schools
  • Continue to improve the county’s ditches and drainage systems to reduce storm water damage
  • Maintain and preserve our rich heritage as a farming, hunting and fishing paradise
