Coinjock, NC – William Frank Carter, 81 of Coinjock, NC died at Currituck Health and Rehabilitation Saturday, August 21, 2021. He was born October 9, 1939, in Currituck County, NC to the late Frank Mydgette Carter and Elizabeth Bray Carter. He was a commercial fisherman and a veteran of the U.S. Marines.
He is survived by a sister, Suzanne Carter of Coinjock, NC; a brother Walton H. Carter (Trudy) of Coinjock, NC; two nephews, Ben and Clay Carter.
A graveside service will be held Monday, August 23, 2021, at 3:00 p.m. at Hampton Cemetery in Waterlily, NC with Wayne Twiford officiating. The family will receive friends at the residence of Suzanne Carter, 264 Waterlily Road, Coinjock, NC. Memorial donations may be made to Coinjock Ruritan Club. PO Box 197, Coinjock, NC 27923.
