Notice of Public Hearing
Amendment of the Currituck County CAMA Land Use Plan
Notice is hereby given that the Currituck County Board of Commissioners will conduct a public hearing on December 2, 2024, at 6:00 PM to review an amendment to the Currituck County Coastal Area Management Act (CAMA) Land Use Plan. The meeting will be held at the Currituck County Historic Courthouse located at 153 Courthouse Road, Currituck. All interested citizens are encouraged to attend.
Following the public hearing, the Currituck County Board of Commissioners will consider adoption of the Land Use Plan amendment. Once adopted, the amended plan will be submitted to the Director of the North Carolina Division of Coastal Management for certification.
Written objections, comments, or statements of support shall be submitted to the Division of Coastal Management’s District Planner, Rachel Love-Adrick at 400 Commerce Avenue, Morehead City NC 28557, 252-515-5403 / 1-888-4RCOAST (1-888-472-6278).
Copies of the Land Use Plan amendment are available for review by the public at the Currituck County Planning and Inspections Department during normal office hours. The public is encouraged to review the Land Use Plan amendment and to attend the public hearing.
